In FFA, the most powerful lessons happen when students can put classroom knowledge into action. Whether they are welding in school shops, planting in greenhouses, building projects, or selling products in competitions, these experiences teach critical thinking, problem-solving skills, confidence, and real-world career readiness.

What is the Learning by Doing Grant Fund?

The Learning by Doing Grant Fund is a new initiative from the Wyoming FFA Association designed to provide flexible funding for agricultural education programs across the state. The fund supports:

  • Tools and equipment for hands-on projects

  • Classroom resources for experiential learning

  • Student-led projects that build leadership and technical skills

  • Coaching resources for contests and competitions

We believe that no one knows what their program is most in need of more than the Advisor, which is why each chapter can use the funds in the way that will most benefit their students, ensuring every dollar has a meaningful impact on student learning and growth.

How Donations Make a Difference

This fund exists only because of donations, and the Wyoming FFA Association is honored to be among the first FFA associations to use the ChapterBoost FFA platform. This new and exciting opportunity allows us to raise funds for the Learning by Doing Grant Fund while also putting Wyoming FFA in front of a national audience. Every gift helps provide the tools, coaching, and resources chapters need to expand hands-on learning, strengthen leadership skills, and prepare students for careers and competitions.

Donations directly empower students to:

  • Build confidence through hands-on projects

  • Strengthen leadership and teamwork skills

  • Gain technical knowledge for future careers in agriculture

By supporting the Learning by Doing Grant Fund via ChapterBoost, you are investing in the futures of students across all 64 Wyoming FFA chapters.
