Big Springs FFA is bringing hands on learning to younger students with Boot Camp Fridays. Middle school members mentor second and third graders, guiding activities and exploring agriculture. In October, students toured the Community Garden and each received a pumpkin to take home.

The Saddle and Sirloin FFA Chapter at Newcastle High School welcomed fourth graders for a hands on agriculture day featuring animals, roping practice, and tractor exploration.
